Ludwig-Seidel
Award est.1999
Abstracts submitted by fellows in pediatric emergency
medicine for podium or poster presentations at the Annual
Meeting of the Academic Pediatric Association are eligible
for the annual LUDWIG-SEIDEL AWARD. This award recognizes
the abstract that represents the best research project
in pediatric emergency medicine in which a PEM fellow
is the lead author.
If you would like your abstract to be considered for this
award, you will need to indicate your interest by checking
the appropriate box on the Abstract Questionnaire form.
In addition, you must include a 500-1,000 summary that
expands upon the information presented in the abstract.
The summary must address the project's rationale and describe
the methods used to achieve the study purpose in detail.
The summary must also include a discussion of the importance
of the findings and their potential impact. The abstract
and summary must be submitted by the abstract deadline.
A selection committee will judge all submissions and the
winner will be announced at the annual meeting.
