Other Educational Resources

  • Bright Futures

  • TIDE is intended to be a flexible tool to teach immunization delivery. The curriculum includes four self-contained modules that use clinical scenarios to trigger problem solving and discussion.
Teaching Immunizations, Delivery and Education (TIDE)

  • Models That Work (Proceedings of National Pediatric Faculty Development Scholars Conference, 12/98)

  • E-Connections
This electronic networking resource allows APA members to seek project-specific assistance from other members. Consultants listed in E-Connections have self-identified expertise in Education, Research, Career Development, Advocacy/Health Policy, Administration/Leadership and Communication/Technology. They are willing to consulted by e-mail or phone to assist other members with project development or project dilemmas. To access: Go to the APA members-only home page and click on the E-Connections tab.

  • Six-Domains of Faculty Development.
The career development needs of most academic pediatric faculty members fall into six domains. For each domain, we have provided a set of common faculty development goals. We recommend that APA members review and adapt the goal sets to create their own plans for personal career development.

APA Educational Scholars Program (FDP)
is approved by the APA Board of Directors
and jointly sponsored by
the APA Faculty Development Special Interest Groups (SIG)
and the APA Education Committee

For more information or suggestions,
we invite you to contact members of the FDP Executive Committee.
Other APA committees and Special Interest Groups
are invited to collaborate with the FDP.
