Practicing Evidence Based Pediatrics
Practicing Evidence-Based Pediatrics,
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, November 12 -13, 2004

The focus of the workshop is to increase awareness regarding the current use of the best evidence in making health care management decisions. The workshop is designed to provide hands-on experience in developing the skills essential to practicing evidence-based pediatric care. The workshop format is designed to introduce participants to the methods necessary for practicing evidence-based pediatric care.

Objectives
  1. To promote an understanding of the best evidence and evidence-based pediatric care.
  2. To introduce the methods and skills useful in providing quality pediatric care based on scientific research.
  3. To reduce and overcome barriers to practicing evidence-based pediatrics.
